Yes! Air purifiers with HEPA filters effectively remove 99.97% of PM2.5 particles indoors. For a standard Indian room of 150-200 sq ft look for purifiers rated at least 300 CADR. Good options are available between ₹5000-15000. For most people a combination of indoor plants and good ventilation habits is more affordable and sufficient for reducing indoor pollution significantly.
NASA research suggests approximately 1 medium-sized plant per 10 square meters of floor space for meaningful air purification. For a typical Indian bedroom of 100-150 sq ft you need 1-2 medium plants. More plants always provide better results. ঘরে কখনও ধূমপান নয়!
সিগারেটের ধোঁয়া ও বাইরের দূষণ মিলে শিশুর জন্য মারাত্মক বিষাক্ত হয়ে ওঠে। শিশু থাকলে ঘরের কাছেও ধূমপান করবেন না।
নিয়মিত শিশু বিশেষজ্ঞের কাছে যান
দূষিত শহরে শিশুদের নিয়মিত ফুসফুস পরীক্ষা দরকার। তাড়াতাড়ি ধরা পড়লে চিকিৎসা অনেক বেশি কার্যকর হয়।

সেরা পছন্দKN95 মাস্ক
N95-এর চীনা সমতুল্য। ৯৫% কণা ফিল্টার করে। ভারতীয় মেডিকেল দোকানে ₹২০-৫০-এ পাওয়া যায়।
চমৎকারN99 মাস্ক
৯৯% PM2.5 ফিল্টার করে। গুরুতর দূষণ বা হাঁপানি রোগীদের জন্য সেরা। একটু দামি কিন্তু সম্পূর্ণ সার্থক।
সর্বোচ্চ সুরক্ষাকাপড়ের মাস্ক
শুধু বড় কণা ফিল্টার করে। PM2.5-এর বিরুদ্ধে একদম সুরক্ষা দেয় না। দূষণ সুরক্ষার জন্য কখনও কাপড়ের মাস্কের উপর নির্ভর করবেন না।
খুবই সীমিতসার্জিকাল মাস্ক
ব্যাকটেরিয়ার জন্য তৈরি কণার জন্য নয়। বায়ু দূষণের বিরুদ্ধে প্রায় শূন্য সুরক্ষা দেয়। বেশিরভাগ ভারতীয় ভুলভাবে এটি ব্যবহার করেন।
কার্যকর নয়শিশুদের N95
প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের N95 শিশুদের মুখে ঠিকমতো ফিট হয় না। ৩ বছরের বেশি শিশুদের জন্য শিশু-আকারের N95 কিনুন।

রাতে অক্সিজেন উৎপাদন করে — শোবার ঘরের জন্য নিখুঁত! বেনজিন ও ফর্মালডিহাইড ফিল্টার করে। প্রায় শূন্য যত্ন দরকার।

অ্যাসিটোন, অ্যামোনিয়া ও ফর্মালডিহাইড দূর করে। প্রাকৃতিক হিউমিডিফায়ার হিসেবেও কাজ করে।
তুলসী
দিনে ২০ ঘণ্টা অক্সিজেন উৎপাদন করে। আয়ুর্বেদে শ্বাসতন্ত্রের স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য শক্তিশালী। প্রতিটি ভারতীয় ঘরে থাকা উচিত।
নিম গাছ (বাইরে)
বাড়ির বাইরে নিম গাছ লাগান। নিম একটি শক্তিশালী প্রাকৃতিক বায়ু পরিশোধক যা পোকামাকড়ও তাড়ায়।
